Single row deep groove ball bearings with snap ring grooves and seals or shields on one or both sides. They are versatile, have low friction and are optimized for low noise and low vibration, allowing high rotational speeds. They can handle radial and axial loads in both directions, are easy to mount and require less maintenance than other bearing types. The snap ring, mounted in an annular groove in the outer ring, facilitates axial positioning of the bearings in their housing. The seal can significantly extend the life of the bearing by keeping lubricant in the bearings and contaminants out.
