No. 26 Connecting Link – Slip Fit (BS/DIN) Used on short pitch chains only. Supplied with two connecting pins riveted into the outer plate, the clearance fit connecting plate being by means of a spring clip – which snaps into the grooves in the pins.
KLR – Straight coupling link / chain lock is available with locking spring and scissor pin depending on chain size. The locking washer is usually a loose fit to facilitate assembly but some coupling links with scissor pin can be supplied with a press fit (No. 58).
