KB RED POWER 3. High-performance woven power belt with maintenance-free polyester cord that minimizes the risk of unplanned stops. KB RED POWER 3 power belts enable space savings and cost efficiency with lower maintenance costs, reduced need for spare parts which can ensure cost savings of up to 35% due to fewer belts and smaller pulleys. Power belts consist of individual V-belts that are joined together with a back plate. Depending on the application, the power belt can be ordered with two, three, four or five ribs. For more than five ribs, several power belts are recommended, e.g. 3+3 ribs. The principle is the same as single belts, but the single-belt character is particularly suitable for long axle distances and shock loads.
