Thrust ball bearings are designed to accommodate axial loads in one or two directions. SKF thrust ball bearings are manufactured as single- or double-direction thrust ball bearings. They are designed to accommodate axial loads only and must not be subjected to any radial loads.
Features:
Detachable and replaceable:
The separable parts of an SKF double-direction thrust ball bearing can be mounted separately.
They simplify assembly, disassembly and maintenance inspections.
Alignment error:
Bearings with spherical housing washers can compensate for alignment errors.
Fixed fit:
Shaft washers have ground holes to enable a tight fit. The housing washer hole is turned and is always larger than the shaft washer hole.
