HOUSING SEALS SKF
SKF housing seals are the first barrier against contamination. Some housings can be used with several different types of seals, while other housings require a specific sealing solution. For highly contaminated environments, SKF recommends the three-barrier solution. This cost-effective sealing solution can have a significant impact on the bearing’s service life as contaminants must pass through three barriers to reach the bearing.
