Instead of an inner ring, cam rollers have a massive shaft journal that is threaded so that the cam roller can be quickly and easily mounted on a suitable camshaft component with a hex nut.

Cam rollers in the NUKR design are based on double-row cylindrical roller bearings without a fixed flange between the two roller sets.
