LOCK WASHERS SKF
MB and MBL series lock washers are locking devices used to secure KM, KML and HM... T lock nuts to a shaft or collet to prevent accidental loosening. MB .. A is a stronger version of the MB washer.
The locking washers engage in a keyway in the shaft or in the thread of the clamping sleeve.
They lock the nut in place when one of the washer tabs is bent into one of the notches in the outer edge of the locknut. A new lockwasher should be used each time a corresponding locknut is installed.
