SKF Y-bearing units are designed with a housing that has a spherical bearing seat and a deep groove ball bearing with a matching spherical outer diameter. This design gives the bearing a self-aligning function, compensating for misalignment of the shaft during installation. Thanks to this feature, SKF Y-bearing units are both simple and cost-effective, making them popular in agriculture, construction, transportation, textiles, fans and food production.
